Unlike conventional air purifiers that require contaminated air to first pass through their HEPA filters to capture pollutants and are limited to only cleaning the air nearby, Airea proactively seeks out and neutralizes harmful pathogens in the air and on surfaces where they exist in a room or space.

Generation
Airea’s advanced purification cell activates a specialized photocatalytic surface to create H₂O₂ by combining oxygen and water molecules from ambient humidity, replicating nature’s own atmospheric purification method.

Dispersion
Using natural convection and a whisper-quiet fan (<20dB), stabilized H₂O₂ molecules are maintained at safe concentrations (10-20ppb, similar to outdoor levels). Providing continuous protection throughout spaces up to 800 sq ft.

Neutralization
Through precise oxidation chemistry, H₂O₂ molecules interact with and break down contaminants through electron transfer. This process transforms harmful compounds into basic elements like water and oxygen. These byproducts safely dissipate into your space and are recycled into new active cleansing molecules.

Independently tested by Intertek and third-party lab tested by Aerosol Research & Engineering Labs (ARE Labs), Airea demonstrates significant effectiveness in reducing airborne and surface contaminants while maintaining safe, naturally occurring H₂O₂ levels. H₂O₂ technology has been extensively studied and proven effective, even in challenging healthcare settings. It works by breaking down microorganisms though oxidation, disrupting their cells and DNA, rendering them nonviable.
