I ordered two and they arrived quickly. The unboxing and setup was pure joy. Well designed packaging, the units are well protected, easy to open with no excess materials. Beautiful product design which is simple elegance that does not need to be hidden, but can be displayed with pride. Manual is also beautiful and simple, both the print version and downloadable version. This is the second day I am enjoying clean air. The sound is calming, not at all bothersome. We put Airea into the most offensive small litterbox bathroom for our 4 cats. This was the ultimate test. We were giving it plenty of time to make sure it wasn't just a placebo effect. But the verdict is: it kicks a**!!!
The fires in Altadena and Pasadena had been raging for 10 days before I received my Airea. It was very difficult to breathe, and I was experiencing many headaches even indoors. I found the Airea on line, ordered and received quickly. The first night I used my Airea, was the first night of restful sleep. I had much less congestion than the prior 10 days upon waking. We still had the smell of smoke outside the home for 6 more days, but not inside the home. I have original 100 year old windows and my home is not air tight. It was very smokey inside prior to their use. I am so happy I chose to purchase 2 Aireas for my home of 1400 sq feet. They are not only functional but quiet and stylish. I have recommended Airea to all my neighbors.
So far so good. They are small and look sleek. I got three and have them placed around my house. I assume the blue light that is emitted from the top is from the UV bulb inside? I have to turn off the one in my bedroom at night because I don't want any light sources at night, that is the only downside. I appreciate the effort that went into making these beautiful and nature inspired, and that there is no need to change/clean filters.
