FAQ

  • Traditional purifiers need contaminated air to pass through their filters, cleaning only nearby air, while Airea's H₂O₂ technology releases purification molecules to actively neutralize contaminants in both air and surfaces throughout your space.

  • You should replace Airea's narrow spectrum UV catalyzing bulb every 2 years to ensure optimal protection. Register your Airea after purchase to be notified when it's time for a replacement.

  • Absolutely. H₂O₂ technology has been rigorously tested and proven to be safe for indoor use in occupied spaces. OSHA’s standards require H₂O₂ levels to be below 1000ppb and Airea operates at 14ppb—60x below OSHA’s safe limit and similar to the levels found in fresh, outdoor air.

  • No, Airea's H₂O₂ technology does not produce any harmful byproducts. When H₂O₂ molecules generated by the purifier react with contaminants or pathogens in the air or on surfaces, the process results low levels of harmless byproducts, such as water vapor and carbon dioxide.

  • Yes, the Airea Space Purifier works well alongside other air purifiers, including those with HEPA filters. HEPA filters are excellent at capturing allergens and dust from the air, while Airea’s H₂O₂ technology proactively neutralizes pathogens both in the air and on surfaces. Together, they provide more comprehensive protection for your space.
